These are some of the semi-wild mill-cats we have here.  I feed them when I am on early shift and at the weekend with a bowl taken from the house

to the mill.  You can't live something as good as cat food in the mill.  The cats catch mice and the dog catches rats.  The vermin would otherwise

enter the barley storage areas and leave droppings in the sheep-meal.  The barley is stored in a timber area so they would chew their way

in unchecked.
